The Spinal Injuries Association is a not for profit peak body for people with a spinal injury in Queensland. The Association has approximately 2000 members and is committed to empowering people to lead independent lifestyles. We advocate for equity and inclusiveness in the community and access for everyone everywhere. We provide a range of services including a spinal advisory service (health advice, information and equipment), peer support (practical and personal support from a peer with a spinal injury), personal support, member networks (provision of information and opportunity to raise and address issues that impact on daily lives of people with spinal injury), employment options and advocacy.
